Garber took a 22-point defeat the last time they faced off against Cadillac, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Dukes narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Vikings 59-56. The victory was just business as usual for the Dukes, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Garber's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Cadillac, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Garber wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-59 victory against Alma on the 12th. As for Cadillac, they have also already played their next contest, a 71-51 win against St. Francis on the 12th.
