Softball Game Preview: Siegel Stars vs. Harbor Creek Huskies

The Siegel Stars will take on the Harbor Creek Huskies in a tournament on Sunday. Siegel is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Siegel picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 victory over Castle.

The team relied heavily on Rylee Miller, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. She also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Abbigail Raciborski, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Siegel always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. The last time their OBP was this high was since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, Harbor Creek had just enough and edged out Camden Central 11-9 on Saturday.

Kaitlin Hiltabidel and Brooklynn Cipalla did most of the damage at the plate: Hiltabidel scored three runs while going 3-for-3, while Cipalla scored three runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs Cipalla has posted since back in May of 2024. Brooke Przybylski was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.

Harbor Creek's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Siegel, their record now sits at 7-4-1.
