Volleyball Recap: Bellarmine Prep Lions vs. Central Kitsap Cougars
Bellarmine Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Central Kitsap Cougars, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-9, 25-20.
Grace Morgan paced Bellarmine Prep's offense, picking up five kills. Morgan got some help from Autumn Wywadis and her six assists. Delya Lewis controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Leading Central Kitsap to victory were Analiah Lauifi and Niliani Butler. Lauifi had 20 digs and three assists, while Butler had ten assists and three digs. That's the most digs Butler has posted since back in September.
Bellarmine Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Central Kitsap, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-3.
