Softball Recap: Morgan Township Cherokees vs. Kouts Mustangs & Fillies         
        
		
            
 Sadly, Morgan Township is still looking for their first win of the season after five  matchups. They fell just short of the Kouts Mustangs & Fillies  by a score of  14-13 on Monday. Even though they lost, Morgan Township's still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.5 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
 Morgan Township got a  massive  performance out of  Braelynn Dudzik, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.  Macy Grieger was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-5.
 Even though they lost, Morgan Township was hitting in the alleys and  finished the game with four  doubles. That's the most  doubles they've managed all season.
 On Kouts' side,  Macie Sanders was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and four  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jenna Sohacki, who  went 3-for-5 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles.
 Morgan Township's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Kouts,  the  win  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-2.
 Morgan Township will be playing at home against Washington Township at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Morgan Township will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more  runs each  contest than the last. As for Kouts, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Tri-County at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Kouts is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 12.5  runs per game  this season.
