The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 11-9 victory over the Broncos on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now won five in a row.

Ryler Carter was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.
