Recap: Peck Pirates vs. Sandusky Wolves
The Peck Pirates's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 39-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sandusky.
Peck lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Thomas West, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. West has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last five times he's played. Cody Cairo was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Peck's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Sandusky, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Peck didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 44-42 victory vs. Capac on the 7th. Sandusky has also already played their next contest, a 48-45 win against Marlette on the 7th.
