Volleyball Recap: Cuthbertson's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Cuthbertson made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Porter Ridge, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Cuthbertson was the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Porter Ridge on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Cavaliers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Cuthbertson never let Porter Ridge on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-9, 25-16.

Cuthbertson now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Porter Ridge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cuthbertson is set to take on their familiar foe Sun Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup will give Cuthbertson their first taste of in-conference action this season. Meanwhile, Porter Ridge will challenge rival Weddington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
