Basketball Recap: Berea Takes a Loss

Berea lost against Madison Central back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Berea Pirates were dealt a 64-12 loss at the hands of the Madison Central Indians. The match marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Brittany Campbell continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Madison Central, going 6-for-7 from beyond the arc on her way to 23 points and four steals. That's the most points Campbell has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameryn Ridderikhoff, who earned nine points along with six rebounds and five steals.

Berea's defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Madison Central, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-2.

As of now, neither Berea nor Madison Central have any future games scheduled.
