Softball Recap: Shawnee Comes Up Short

Shawnee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 6-2 to the Eastern Vikings. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last seven times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Shawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Eastern, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shawnee will host Triton at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs have yet to allow a single run through four matchups this season, a streak the Renegades will look to end. As for Eastern, they will be playing at home against Moorestown at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
