Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Zoee Cabral and Jacqueline Guzman Lead Corcoran to Victory

Corcoran won the last time they faced Orange Cove and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

One reason for the win was Corcoran's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-19, 25-13.

Leading Corcoran to victory were Jacqueline Guzman and Zoee Cabral. Guzman had nine kills and four assists, while Cabral had four aces. That's the most assists Guzman has posted since back in August.

When it comes to explaining why Orange Cove lost, don't look at Kendra Talingo. Despite the final result, she had 14 digs.

Corcoran's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Orange Cove, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Coming up, Corcoran will face off against Lindsay at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Orange Cove, they will square off against Riverdale at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
