Volleyball Recap: Yulee Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Yulee waltzed into their contest on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Ribault Trojans 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Yulee was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-2, 25-4.

Leading Yulee to victory were Kaveri Harris and Kai Killmeyer. Harris hit 100% for five kills and 15 aces, while Killmeyer had five aces and three digs. Harris is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 14 games she's played. Ema King also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Yulee was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 35 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in August of 2024.

Yulee now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Ribault, their defeat was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-14.

Coming up, Yulee will host Episcopal School of Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ribault has already played their next matchup (against Raines), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
