Basketball Recap: Southern Nash Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Southern Nash was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 65-52 to the Beddingfield Bruins. The Firebirds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bruins apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Southern Nash still got an impressive performance from Jaden Hartsfield, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 24 points. Another player making a difference was Dayson Sanders, who posted 12 points.

Beddingfield's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rashad Williams, who went 10-for-20 en route to 24 points along with eight boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Darrian Jones, who shot 80% from the field on his way to 16 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Southern Nash's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Beddingfield, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Southern Nash wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 75-68 defeat against Nash Central on the 3rd. As for Beddingfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-28 loss against Bunn on the 3rd.
