Basketball Recap: Eagle Academy Comes Up Short

Eagle Academy came into this matchup off a tough 32-point defeat on Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of CSI International Studies by a score of 42-39 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against CSI International Studies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-63 back in December of 2025.

This is the second loss in a row for Eagle Academy and nudges their season record down to 6-11. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 6-4 McKee Vo-Tech (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 57.3% over those games). As for CSI International Studies, they pushed their record up to 6-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eagle Academy will challenge New Dorp at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for CSI International Studies, they will face off against McKee Vo-Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
