Football Recap: Foresthill Wildfires vs. Golden Sierra Grizzlies
Foresthill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 39-14 to the Golden Sierra Grizzlies. The Wildfires were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Grizzlies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Cody Mccoard went supernova for Golden Sierra, rushing for 175 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. Mccoard didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made six total tackles.
