Belmont put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 32-26 W against Wonewoc-Center/Weston. Give the Braves' offense some serious credit: that high-scoring performance was actually the fewest points they've scored all season.

Belmont's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Wonewoc-Center/Weston, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Belmont will take on rival North Crawford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Braves 12, the Trojans 5.6) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Wonewoc-Center/Weston is set to challenge their familiar foe Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
