Baseball Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

Edison lost against Mount Vernon back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Majors by a score of 6-5.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Mount Vernon, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Edison didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-2 loss against Annandale on the 12th. As for Mount Vernon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 15-0 victory against Falls Church on the 8th.
