Baseball Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

Edison lost against Mount Vernon back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Majors by a score of 6-5.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Mount Vernon, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Edison is set to square off against their familiar foe Hayfield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mount Vernon will face off against rival Falls Church at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
