While Dillon Christian put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for King's Academy. Dillon Christian put the hurt on King's Academy with a sharp 15-0 win. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by eight runs or more this season.

Lilli Shooter made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and one triple.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Presley McKenzie, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Shelby Dial was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

Dillon Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .735. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Dillon Christian pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.2 runs over those games. As for King's Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dillon Christian will welcome Carolina Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for King's Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Atlantic Collegiate Academy at 6:30 p.m. on April 25.
