Basketball Game Preview: Van-Far Indians vs. Montgomery County Wildcats

Van-Far hasn't had much luck against Montgomery County recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Van-Far Indians will look to defend their home court against the Montgomery County Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Van-Far is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Wednesday. They took a 40-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Callaway.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Chloe Zumwalt, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in blocks (three). Khloe Wallace was another key player, putting up seven points.

Meanwhile, Montgomery County didn't have quite enough to beat New Haven on Wednesday and fell 27-25. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Van-Far's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Montgomery County, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
