Arlington lost to North Rockland last Tuesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Admirals came out on top in a nail-biter against the Raiders, sneaking past 11-10. Arlington's victory was all the more impressive since the Raiders were averaging only 3.75 runs allowed on the season.

Hudson Cavallo looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits.

At the plate, Griffin White was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Tristan Rivera was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Arlington kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Arlington's record is now 4-2. As for North Rockland, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-2 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arlington will challenge Ketcham at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Rockland, they will face off against Chatham at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Raiders 3.8, the Panthers 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
