Volleyball Recap: Alina Pinter Key Part of Team Effort in Panthers and Pantherettes Win + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Duncanville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Royse City Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The Panthers and Pantherettes not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 26th (when they won 3-0).

Duncanville's got stronger as the match went on, holding Royse City to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 25-8.

Duncanville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alina Pinter led the charge by getting 26 digs. Those 26 digs gave Pinter a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaleeya Brown, who had five digs and two aces.

Duncanville was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Duncanville's win bumped their record up to 21-6. As for Royse City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-8.

Coming up, Duncanville will challenge North Forney at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Royse City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pearce at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
