Basketball Recap: Mishicot's Win Ends Seven-Game Losing Streak at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Mary Catholic, Mishicot was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the White Lake Lakers, sneaking past 57-55. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 57-55 last Thursday.

Mishicot's win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-12. As for White Lake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mishicot will challenge Random Lake at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Mishicot is facing Random Lake at the right time seeing as Random Lake is stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for White Lake, they will head out to square off against Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. White Lake will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: Marion will have lost four straight heading into Thursday's game.
