Football Recap: St. George's Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. George can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Grace Christian Academy Rams and fell 49-0. The shutout was out of character for the Gryphons seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in October.

Jace Ballard produced another solid performance picking up 100 receiving yards and two TDs, while also rushing for 57 yards and one touchdown for Grace Christian Academy. Another player making a difference was JV Stinson, who rushed for 58 yards and a pair of scores.

St. George's has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for Grace Christian Academy, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

St. George's does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grace Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Battle Ground Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats' defense has only allowed 11.3 points per game this season, so the Rams' offense will have their work cut out for them.
