Recap: St. Vincent's Saints vs. Bryan County Redskins
The St. Vincent's Saints lost against the Bryan County Redskins back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. St. Vincent's had to suffer through a rough 67-39 loss at the hands of Bryan County. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for St. Vincent's in their matchups with Bryan County: they've now lost six in a row.
St. Vincent's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Elsie Thompson, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and four blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Ghaleb, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
St. Vincent's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Bryan County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.
St. Vincent's will head out on the road to face off against Savannah Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully St. Vincent's focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 on Tuesday. Bryan County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
