The La Sierra Academy Knights will head out on the road to challenge the United Christian Academy Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

La Sierra Academy is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 13th straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They took a blow against California Lutheran, falling 71-23. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-10.

Despite the defeat, La Sierra Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Braden Robinson posted ten points.

Meanwhile, United Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 74-29 loss at the hands of California School for the Deaf-Riverside. The Eagles were down 59-25 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

La Sierra Academy will need focus on slowing down Carter Estersohn, one of several United Christian Academy players who made an impact when they last played. He put up six points. Those points marked the first that Estersohn's scored this season.

United Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for La Sierra Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
