Volleyball Recap: The Colony Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when The Colony challenged Wilson on Saturday. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Amaya Jones paced The Colony's offense, picking up five kills. Jones got some help from Teagan Hubbard and her eight assists. Finally, Triniti Reagor kept The Colony's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

The Colony now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Wilson, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

The Colony has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Lakeview Centennial on the 16th. Wilson has also already played their next contest (against Independence), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
