Lilly Langway made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Langway was even better at the plate, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Trinity King, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Shianne Needle was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.

North Myrtle Beach's win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Myrtle Beach, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 5-14.
