Baseball Recap: Mason County Eastern Takes a Loss

Mason County Eastern lost to Marion on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cardinals came up short against the Eagles, falling 10-1. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aaron Drake was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

Mason County Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Marion, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

Coming up, Mason County Eastern will host Shelby on Saturday. As for Marion, they will venture away from home to challenge Mesick at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
