Epping had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They never let the Hinsdale Pacers get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Give the Blue Devils' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Epping's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Hinsdale, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Hinsdale will square off against Newport at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Epping will be paying especially close attention to the Pacers' contest: after the Pacers face off against the Tigers, they'll take on Epping again at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
