Volleyball Recap: Kennedy Find Success

The Kennedy Commanders were able to grind out a solid win over the Rocky Mountain Prep SMART Ocelotls on Wednesday, taking the game 3-1.

Kennedy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-18, 25-19, 27-25.

Adan Villar paced Kennedy's offense, picking up 20 kills. Villar got some help from Ken Le and his 20 assists. Villar was also solid from the service line: he led the team with seven aces.

Kennedy now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Rocky Mountain Prep SMART, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Kennedy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against DMLK on the 25th. As for Rocky Mountain Prep SMART, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against DSST: Cedar on the 24th.
