Soccer Recap: Amador Takes a Loss

Amador was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Liberty Ranch Hawks, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, the Buffaloes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 821st, while the Hawks are ranked 186th).

Amador's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Liberty Ranch, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Amador and Rosemont will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Liberty Ranch will take on Argonaut in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Liberty Ranch is facing Argonaut at the right time seeing as Argonaut is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
