Tintic's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They blew past the Wendover Wildcats 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Miners in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Tintic took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-12, 25-14.

Jordan Conder paced Tintic's offense, picking up five kills. Conder got some help from Kyah Farr and her seven assists. Kendall Snell controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Tintic's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Wendover, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Coincidentally, Tintic and Wendover will both be playing Altamont the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will host the Longhorns at 2:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Miners will host them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
