After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Manila, Tintic was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Wendover Wildcats as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Miners haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Tintic was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-12, 25-14.

Jordan Conder paced Tintic's offense, picking up five kills. Conder got some help from Kyah Farr and her seven assists. Kendall Snell controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Tintic's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Wendover, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Tintic and Wendover will both be playing Altamont the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will host the Longhorns at 2:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Miners will host them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
