Baseball Recap: Walters Blue Devils vs. Empire Bulldogs
Walters had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over the Empire Bulldogs on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Devils also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.
JOHN JONES made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. JONES was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
