Volleyball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Ridgemont Golden Gophers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Gophers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-14.

Perry's offense was headlined by Sarah Breaston and Justice Allison, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Malieah Hutchins and her six assists. Breaston was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Ridgemont, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Perry didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Elgin on the 9th. As for Ridgemont, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Cory-Rawson on the 9th.
