While Mountain Ridge's win against Boulder Creek wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mountain Lions sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 victory over the Jaguars on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Mountain Lions as they're now sitting on three straight.

The victory got Mountain Ridge back to even at 10-10. As for Boulder Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Mountain Ridge will head out to square off against Pinnacle at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mountain Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pioneers have averaged an impressive 9.3 runs per game this season. As for Boulder Creek, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Mesa at 3:45 p.m. The Jackrabbits have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.33 runs per game on average), something the Jaguars will no doubt try to take advantage of.
