Football Recap: Saks Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Saks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Wellborn Panthers, falling 36-12. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 26-14 to the Panthers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Saks' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Wellborn, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Saks will take on Central of Coosa County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wellborn, they will face off against Cleburne County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
