Football Recap: Carver Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Carver suffered their biggest loss since October 25, 2024 on Friday. They took a blow against the Reidsville Rams, falling 44-8. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 173rd, while the Rams are ranked 43rd).

Reidsville found their leader in sophomore Savvion Johnson, who picked up a sack and made 11 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Having lost for the first time this season, Carver fell to 5-1. As for Reidsville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Carver will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on McMichael at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. As for Reidsville, they will take on Rockingham County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
