Football Recap: Mapleton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Mapleton's offense. They had to suffer through a 44-0 loss at the hands of the Eddyville Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Sailors in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Mapleton's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Eddyville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mapleton is set to challenge their familiar foe Jewell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Eddyville will square off against rival Falls City at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Eagles 7.8, the Mountaineers 14.5) so any points scored will be well earned.
