Princeton had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past the Springboro Panthers  49-47. Winning may never get old, but the Vikings sure are getting used to it with their 14th in a row.
 It was another big night for  Mari Gerton, who  posted 23  points in addition to five  assists and five  boards. What's more,  she also posted a 71%  three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's  achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Kali Fortson, who  scored ten points and eight  rebounds.
Princeton pushed their record up to 21-6 with the  victory, which was their seventh straight  on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 59.4 points over those games. As for Springboro,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at 11 games  and leaves them with a 22-5 record.
 Looking ahead, Princeton will face off against Pickerington Central at 8:30  p.m.  on Saturday. Pickerington Central will roll in looking for their  19th straight  win, something Princeton surely won't give up without a fight. Springboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
