Volleyball Recap: Ross Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Victory

Ross strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Willard Crimson Flashes. The Little Giants have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Crimson Flashes, too.

Leading Ross to victory were Brook Baacke and Hayden Dircksen. Baacke had 13 digs and two aces, while Dircksen had 12 digs. That's the most aces Baacke has posted since back in October of 2024. Chloe Hotz also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Ross' win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Willard, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ross will venture away from home to challenge Anthony Wayne at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Willard, they will challenge South Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
