It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sterling can now relate to. They fell to the Washington Panthers 58-54. The Golden Warriors' loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Dani Guedet was her usual excellent self, shooting 67% from the field to rack up 25 points and eight rebounds for Washington. Guedet is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Rebecca Mcdougall, who posted ten points and eight rebounds.

Sterling's defeat dropped their record down to 30-6. As for Washington, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 35-1.

Sterling does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Washington, they will challenge Saint Ignatius College Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Saint Ignatius College Prep will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Washington surely won't give up without a fight.
