Volleyball Recap: Deering Takes a Loss

Deering was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aqqaluk Bears. The Northern Lights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bears earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-15.

Deering's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Aqqaluk, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.

Deering has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against McQueen on the 15th. As for Aqqaluk, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Davis-Romoth on the 15th.
