The Paul VI Panthers will face off against the South Range Raiders at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Paul VI is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.6 runs per game this season.

Paul VI proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 22) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Elizabeth Seton 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since April 12, 2024.

Maria Dozier was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Gabby Hager was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs.

Meanwhile, South Range had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 12-6 victory. Considering the Raiders have won five matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Paul VI is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for South Range, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
