Recap: Douglas Tigers vs. Reed Raiders

The Douglas Tigers stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Reed 56-21 at home. The win was familiar territory for Douglas who now have seven in a row.

Douglas can attribute much of their success to Ashlyn Greenfield, who scored 16 points along with four steals. That's the first time this season that Greenfield scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aleeah Weaver, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Douglas is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Reed, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Douglas will be playing at home against Reno at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Reed, they will head out on the road to take on McQueen at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. McQueen is on a four-game streak of home losses, Reed a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
