Sam Swank put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in May of 2024 on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
