With a playoff win on the line, Inter-City Baptist rose to the challenge on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 48-27 margin over the Parkway Christian Eagles. The Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.

Parkway Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Bella Flora, who posted nine points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Tamerah Peterson, who had seven points and five steals.

Inter-City Baptist has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points on average over those games. Parkway Christian moved to 12-13 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Inter-City Baptist will take on Morenci on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Morenci comes in on five and Inter-City Baptist on three. Parkway Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
