Basketball Recap: Cocoa Beach Takes a Loss

Cocoa Beach lost against Rockledge last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cocoa Beach Minutemen took a blow against the Rockledge Raiders, falling 51-19. The Minutemen were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-8.

Rockledge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jazylle Bradley, who posted nine points along with six boards and five steals. Bradley has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Bradley, who earned 14 points and four steals.

Cocoa Beach's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Rockledge, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cocoa Beach and Satellite will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played. As for Rockledge, they will take on Master's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
