Basketball Recap: East Newton Comes Up Short

East Newton suffered their closest loss since December 5, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Nevada Tigers by a score of 62-59. The Patriots have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

East Newton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Nevada, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.
