After a string of 13 wins, Grant's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of La Serna. The shutout was out of character for Grant seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 14-3. As for La Serna, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Grant didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Mark Keppel on the 27th. As for La Serna, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Buckley on the 27th.
