League recap: Jefferson wins, gets boost in standings

Jefferson was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from third to first in 3A District 10. Jefferson defeated St. Martin's Episcopal 28-21 earlier in the week.

Miller-McCoy Academy lost to O. Perry Walker 66-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Kevin Kelly's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tyler Butler threw for 125 yards and Clyde Thomas had 85 yards receiving. On the ground Donte Sincere contributed 124 yards.
